I remember reading/seeing some coach somewhere saying, the best athlete ends up at qb on most HS teams. Yet most end up playing a different position in college, of the ones that go on to play college ball.

Coach Bryant had several highly rated QB's playing DB.
Tommy Wilcox and Jim Bob Harris were two of them.

Does it seem to anyone else that kids recruited as athletes don't end up making it as often as you would think based on their ratings? Seems they don't settle into any one role long enough to adjust, maybe?
