I'm ready for all Hell to break loose on 14 April. It goes both ways. There will be a lot of talent out there to grab for the fall.

We will see additional chaos before then especially if Harbaugh bounces.

Apparently we can't take any SEC transfers in the second portal though.

When Riley left? I think like 15-20 guys transferred plus decommits. Rattler, Caleb, Mario Williams, Stogner, McCutchen just off the top.

Yeah they all followed their coach. It was unprecedented for a different reason but still unprecedented nevertheless.

This sucks because I'm quite sure if Byrne knew CKD would come in and burn everything to the ground he wouldn't have hired him

This is why he should’ve put in a stipulation that certain coaches had to stay.

That's not how you run an athletic department. You might could treat a position coach you promote that way, but not any coach that has proven themselves in any way.

Both of those comments explains why, at most, neither of you will run a successful business other than lawn care maintenance

No elite HC would agree to step into that position. As painful as it may be in the short-term, we have to let CKD assemble his own staff. If the staff doesn't have chemistry, the team won't have chemistry.

You're thinking of them losing 3 players to USC with Riley.

This is how you end up with Larry Coker. Nobody out there worth hiring would have agreed to the job with those conditions.

Can you imagine Mal Moore telling Nick Saban this when he took the job? "Now Nick, we need to keep all of these assistants already on staff so we can keep continuity. Don't go firing and hiring who you want." He would STILL be in Miami.

So telling Saban to keep some of Shula’s awful staff is the same as telling DeBoer to keep some of Saban’s great staff? Come on man. Think before you post.

This, and then we evaluate him as he goes. Contrary to popular belief, I think it’s easier and more rapid to rebuild a team than it ever has been.
Basketball is a perfect example in the NIL/transfer era.

There’s nothing wrong with owning a lawn care business. I personally do not but I know a guy who started one when he was 15 and had his bought his own plane by the time he was 25.
