I too got a bad concussion and a "pin hole" size bleed on my brain. I played with it for a week or two before going to the doctor. Said mine was practically healed up or basically scabbed over. Missed the rest of the season and played baseball that spring. It isnt as bad as it sounds, at least a mild one is it seems.

Richard Young is at the All-American Bowl and posted this picture of Cormani McClain.

If Young pulls this off we should appoint him our official Recruiting Player Rep for the next four years.

Saint, I see no picture.

From what I understand, McClain is still committed to Miami, but hasn't signed. Is he looking elsewhere or just trying to pressure Miami into giving him more NIL money?

Young is sick. There has never been a peer recruiter like him. Crazy Spiegs put in that CB to Oregon on him. He must of saw it said let me tell these people where I'm at .

Ruben Foster was a hell of a recruiter back when he played. He would always host the top recruits for Bama.

I don't know what he is doing now, but Bama needs to hire him to recruit!!

Things change so fast, and so often, it's hard to keep up, but I think he has shifted to Miami since then (not sure if it was a commitment or not).

Florida was shocked when he committed to Miami. Their fans had a nuclear meltdown when it happened. Miami has been playing the NIL game big time with Ruiz. Other than money and location Miami has little to offer right now. They have no true home field advantage, play in a boring conference and their team sucks.

Considering that we already have two of the top cornerbacks in this class signed in Desmond Ricks and Jahlil Hurley, I would be surprised if Cormani McClain would consider Alabama an attractive destination. Would he consider joining a class that already has 2 of the top 4 players at his position?

Think about the situation a few years back with Patrick Surtain jr. and Tyson Campbell. There were from the same school, were friends. But they were never a package, never considered going to the same school, because they were the top 2 cornerbacks in the country (at least I think that was their reason). So Campbell joined UGA and Surtain joined the good guys.

But maybe things are different now, because of NIL being such a huge factor. If McClain has held off signing with the U for financial reasons then maybe there are factors in play that may mean Bama is in fact an option for him?

I think it just depends on the person, the way the need is sold by the staff and possibly if one is a slot corner because everyone plays a ton of nickel now.

UGA pulled 3 of the top 9 corners last year including 2 five stars. In the Surtain class we still got Jobe and Armour-Davis which gave us 3 of the top 13 in the composite. Strangely I think LSU has pulled this a few times with safeties.

It doesn't happen a whole bunch but it wouldn't be unprecedented. Hoping this is one of those occasions.

Hurley may end up at safety. He's already 6-2, 190.

Ricks is the fastest (4.4) of the 3 and projects to be a field corner. Hurley is the smoothest of the 3 and has shown excellent route matching skill but is the slowest (low to mid 4.5's) of the 3. He projects to be a Branch replacement (star) or a boundary corner with safety help over the top. McClain looks to be more physical and a little better speed (high 4.4 to low 4.5) than Hurly, He projects well as a boundary corner that should develop good press man skills.

McClain would have to be a take if we got room.
