While the conference as a whole isn’t, you could also make the same case for the SEC with some teams. As much as the SEC has been dominant, there’s still some programs that aren’t performing how they have in the past (Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, etc.) and some programs that have really stepped up in recent years which is a compliment to the SEC’s depth.

It’s also not a coincidence those big ten teams are down. College football is changing
