re: Give an honest assessment of your team going into the season

Honestly it’s fair to assume a buffer in between 7-5 and 9-3. I think most teams in the SEC west kind of fall here too. There is a lot of talent, and where there isn’t talent there is added experience. I think if the injury bug doesn’t bite, they could play really well. Yes the team was “rebuilt” but to overlook the talent at certain positions because of that is unfair. Adding transfer portal pieces will certainly help, depending on how fast they gel. I feel like LSU, Ole Miss, State, Arky, and Aggie are all in the same boat where they could be 7-5 to 10-2 depending on injuries, expected performance, etc. Should be a brawl in the SECw will be fun!
