DESTROYED Georgia last year, and won the SEC Championship.

We proved who the better team was before losing our offense to injuries, and have the hardware to show for it.

Congrats to Georgia on the phenomenal luck though. It was written in the stars for yall

UGA at nowhere near full health beat Bama in the NC.

The funny thing about Bama is they think UGA was healthy for both the SECCG and the NCG. UGA wasn't even close to healthy for either, with an all american safety, leading sack producer and starting OL out and their best receivers both playing injured (because it was the NC and that's what big time players do). They were more beat up in the SECCG, starting a walkon safety instead of a NFL talent, with another OL injured and with a flu bug impacting the team.

UGA was healthier in the NC than any point all season... but they were still beat up. UGA had a ton of injury problems last year... the reason why UGA doesn't have to make excuses and Bama does is that UGA's players who came in for those injured guys stepped up. McConkey, Mitchell, Bowers... all Freshman... all stepped up. William Poole... stepped up. Stetson Bennett... stepped up. Robert Beal stepped up. Warren Ericson... stepped up. Broderick Jones... stepped up. All of these guys had to fill in due to injury and were starters in the NCG. Didn't matter. UGA won because they stepped up.

Bama's players... didn't.

No one is at full health at the end of the year but not having 7 starters is far unhealthier than most.

The Bama backups didn't do what the starters did in the SECCG but that's a different topic than missing your best players. I don't know what you mean about stepping up with those players on the list since most were starters anyway. Starters don't have to step up. And, it's easier to step up when you aren't going against the best players on the other team. .
