Dumb take. SEC has more viewership every year

Yes. The SEC gets bigger TV ratings.

This isn't about markets.

CBS overplayed their hand during negotiations 2 years ago after having the best TV deal in sports for 20 20 years.

CBS kept trying to lowball the SEC, so the SEC told them goodbye (honestly, wish they would have held out b/c that 2:30 CBS spot is huge).

Now, CBS was desparate and ended up paying more for shitty big 19 games than they would to have the pick if the litter every week with the SEC.

It was moronic and short sighted by CBS.
