Can’t blame Ketchum for this one. Sark had indeed penciled in Card as the starter. All observers were reporting that Card had outperformed Ewers.

It’s not Ketchum’s fault that the UT alum who had paid Ewers millions to be there informed Sark late that he was required to start Ewers.

I have a sneaking suspicion this might be the case. All of the rumors that Card was outperforming Ewers and the reports Sark was going to start Card. Texas fanbase melting. Then at the height of that smoke, boom. Ewers announced as the starter.

Absolutely no proof of booster involvement, but if there is, Sark will see the same fate as Strong and Herman. Texas boosters will be the reason they sign elite recruits and also the reason they continue to have losing seasons.
