Also, it's a bit cherry picked to say conference titles have always eluded A&M and only discuss Big 12 and SEC eras, when A&M put up 6 outright SWC titles in the decade immediately preceeding formation of the Big 12 (really 7, but we were on probation in 94, so the second place teams split the title).
Winning a conference outright 7 times in 14 years isn't nothing. We've had some good runs here and there. But the last 20 years have been pretty rough overall.

Are you talking about the years Jackie Sherrill was busted for? They probably didnt want to further humiliate aggy and bring up cheating.
