It’s a good experience for the players.
I don’t think winning or losing these exhibitions will make or break the season.
I think most coaches will just let them play and probably not show every nuance of their sets.
Probably a good time to see how guys have developed over the spring and summer. Maybe you can find a 9th or 10th guy for the rotation.
Maybe reward the walk-ons with some PT with mostly starters.
I’m not sure why people are upset about teams going overseas as a team building experience.

Pretty much, Muss stated something similar to this when asked. Just a good way to get an early look at your players against someone other than yourself.
