Oh yeah

Can’t wait to see those classic CFB rivalry games, Rutgers vs. UCLA and USC vs. Maryland

That is not how it works in the B1G. The TV audience wants and will get UCLA v Michigan and USC v Ohio State.

I'm not sure why you guys keep bringing up Rutgers when you have Vaderbilt.

BuckNuts is scared to play the Dores, only 4 times in their history and 3 were played in Columbus. None were blowouts by BuckNuts

@ Columbus, 20 Bucknuts, 0 Dores
@ Columbus, 21 Bucknuts, 26 Dores
@ Columbus, 5 Bucknuts, 0 Dores
@ Nashville, 17 Bucknuts, 6 Dores

Look every conference has there ‘ weaker’ members, I understand that. But that’s not the point.

Here you have an addition where some MBA looked purely at TV numbers and said ‘go for it.’ Fine.

So we will see what happens when you add two schools, neither which are slouches of course, that have absolutely no geographic proximity, tradition, history, culture, etc.-all stuff Vandy brings to the table - to another conference.

That's because you're fricking clueless. You've got Rutgers, Maryland, Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, Northwestern, and Nebraska. USC fans won't give a shite about watching those games. And as I already pointed out, UCLA couldn't even out draw Alcorn State on opening night, when they hadn't lost a game yet, and virtually no one else in the country was playing.

Hell, even Auburn-South Carolina outdrew USC-UCLA. And both of those teams had losing conference records.

So does this matchup, Ohio State v USC and Michigan v UCLA occur over and over and over all season long?
