I went to see a Cards-Cubs game at the old Busch Stadium back in the late 90's. Holy crap it was like an oven in that stadium, over 100 on the field. I know my Dad wanted to leave by the 3rd inning Hottest stadium/game I've ever attended (fwiw).

It was smotheringly hot when we went, then we had a 1 hour rain delay before first pitch, so humidity was a million percent. Luckily, we had Redbird Club tix, so the wife could retreat inside. Boys had a ball.
