The rest of the teams want to be much better than last year. If you were 7-6 or 6-7 in 2021, do you really want the same players playing?

Experience counts for something, but if it is mediocre or bad experience, it is not really wanted.

1st year in system, new everywhere, you kinda expect year two to see a decent improvement. 7-6 should have been 10-3 for the Vols. This year, on paper, this is an 8-4 to 10-2 team. Vegas has the number at 7.5 (take the over) and barring injury they should realistically be at 8 or 9 regular season wins. Returning QB, staff in year 2 is mor significant than raw numbers.
