I want to say Dodd wanted the number of scholarship players dropped down from 120. Rumor is Bear said he agreed but then voted against lowering it.

Edit: and yeah they did. ND was on tv practically every week. They thought with games being broadcast out of Atlanta they could do the same thing. It backfired on them though.

GT's biggest problem is their Administration quit caring about football 30 years ago. They should at least be competitive. Their basketball program is the biggest head scratcher considering their location.

Bobby Dodd and Bear Bryant got in to a feud. Actually, it was Dodd's feud. But GT did quit in protest because they are bitches.
