Saban/Sexton always test the waters, however I doubt he would go back to the NFL. The only job I could see him taking, should it become available would be San Diego.

Saban can't coach NFL players. He can't handle them. He needs young kids he can intimidate.

NFL players just look at him and tell him talk to my agent little man.

He checks the waters all year long. He probably already has.

There's only one job Saban wants more than Alabama, and that one won't open up until Miles has 2 or 3 bad seasons in a row.

Sexton can call every NFL team owner and tell them that Saban would come coach their team and Saban would pay the team $5 million a year to be allowed to coach and he would not get a sniff.

The only way he leaves Bama is to return to LSU. I mean, like what, every third interview he has given, he mentions he that he made a mistake by leaving LSU.
