Nailed it!!!
Yes I did, but unlike you, I consider every Georgia football weekend as something not entirely about football. The cocktail party just adds a needed yearly exotic venue for a college football weekend that is strictly for Dawgs and Gators, and that makes it special. When it becomes strictly about the game that is when I'll cease to be a fan.

The people who want this game moved don't realize what it'll do to the rivalry. I don't think they realize how little people will care about a nooner on ESPN2 in Athens or Gainesville.

In other words, if you think you'll get the same intensity for this game from fans and players every year if you move it to home and home, you are wrong and either don't know it or don't care.

& my issue is how many go for the game compared to vacation at the beach?

If it's mostly the latter, then what's wrong with alternating the location?
