My question was why does UGA do this when they only get half the tickets in a stadium smaller than in Athens (it became much easier to get home Iron Bowl tix when the game moved to the campuses). The gist of the thread was that the UGA people like the trip, plan around it, and don't want it to be home and home. JP has at least a theoretical point but if Kirby doesn't care then why should anyone else?
Because partying and socializing at the beach is more important than the game itself. I've been following the Dawgs since Dooley's first year in 1964, and Georgia-Florida week not in Jax is just unimaginable from my corner. Whether people of other fanbases understand that or not is of no importance to me.
