Just checked the stats…
Georgia threw the ball 155 times all year during a Hershel Walker campaign… about 15 passes per game over the 11 game season.
Alabama threw the ball 300 times during one of Derrick Henry’s years. Coker actually completed 66% of his passes.
My point is that defenses could key on Hershel and Bo 60% of the time and be right
