If Latham and Brockermeyer hadn’t been 5* everyone would be freaking out right now, but the reality is they are both far more raw than our previous 5* OT recruits and have done nothing to show they are ready to take over either spot so far.

I would argue none of our projected OL starters for the coming year would’ve been favored to start on our OL from 2020 and that our OT situation is as untested as we’ve seen in almost a decade.

I’d think Ekiyor would’ve been favored since he started on the 2020 line. But aside from that your statement is true. However all those guys except Cornbread were pretty high NFL picks. I just want to see improvement.

It might seem that way. But I think if it is as bad as some fear, the coaches would've gone after an OT in the portal.

I don't feel real good about either Latham or Brockermeyer at this point. But they have the pedigree. Does anyone think D.George can improve enough to start at RT? I love a big road grader on that side.

That lost year last season with Marone the Moron will haunt us for too long. We had an OL class full of raw talent needing development and their freshman season was wasted with an idiot that couldn’t develop a boner at a porn convention.

How is a longtime coach in the NFL such a shi##y coach?

There is a prodigious list of horrific long time NFL coaches.

It’s like the mafia, once you get made you are taken care of.

I have no issue with people who want to see things half full with our OL. My issue is the nonchalant way people just assume everything with be elite there just because it was in the past.

We weren’t even functional up front most of the year and lose both OT, one of whom is a top 3 overall pick with nothing established behind him while changing our position coach.

We might be ok up there, but it sure as hell isn’t a forgone conclusion.
