Raw numbers in fouls don’t tell the whole story
The only reason Gonzaga had 17 fouls is because they had to start fouling at the end. Gonzaga was in the double bonus with over 10 minutes left. We weren't even in the bonus at all until the very end when they had to foul tn get the ba back. They had 3-4 fouls to give that late in the game. In this instance, it's not a ridiculous take. The media and Gonzaga are in meltdown mode over this. Yahoo Sports wrote an article highlighting every call that went against Gonzaga. So many comments everywhere about how the refs gave Arkansas the game. I can't think of a more satisfying victory than this.

ESPN last night they were saying similar shite.
Timme hooked and held so many times and it never got called.
They fouled us as much as we fouled them. Yet we had like 10 fouls to their 3 until the final 3 minutes.
There's this media-darling desire to have some big gawky white-kid team (and West Coast) be legit. The national sports media in general is pissed off. This is the same as it was with Nolan. NOBODY liked us winning and shitting on their darling programs.
That's part of why our attitude is so "frick you" in general.
