I’m struggling to see how going 16-15 in the last 31 matchups against a self proclaimed “blue blood” in tu is humiliating.

I do see how losing to Kansas at home in front of an empty stadium except for all of your biggest recruits is humiliating. I can also see how having 5 losing seasons since 2009 is humiliating.

It's humiliating to go back to 1980 because that's the only time frame you look remotely competitive (and still don't have a winning record )

Sure. Not our best, no question. At least we're not hiding behind Kansas due to an inferiority complex to the school that rejected your college application (and owned you across all sports for a lifetime).
