The only question is if they're committed to basketball.
Crean was making 3.5 and would have been bumped up to 4.5 if he made the tourney. People speculate Drew only makes 3-3.5 at Baylor. If UGA committed to basketball and offered him 5 mil… he’d be on the next plane out… And frick milk toast Mizzou… we’ll outbid and get any coach we want IF we’re committed… Mizzou isn’t in the same stratosphere when it comes to athletics.

This is ridiculous. The guy just won a national title right where he is and has one of the top teams again this year.
There's no chance he leaves for Georgia. Good recruiting in Georgia but he's got that where he's at. And that's about it. Georgia is the worst program in the SEC.
That stuff about the basketball program diverting funds from the basketball program is also ridiculous. It's projection. Of the two schools (Baylor and Georgia), Baylor clearly cares more about basketball. Why do I say that? Because despite the fertile recruiting grounds, Georgia has been terrible in basketball as long as I can remember.

Commitment isn't just about money. Drew can recruit to Baylor and he's appreciated there. Would that be true at Georgia?

Mizzou has lots of Walmart money too. Bud Walton's daughters, Nancy Laurie and Ann Kroenke, both live in Columbia and have been big boosters. Also, Josh Kroenke, son of Stan and Ann, played hoops at Mizzou on scholarship and now runs the Nuggets. I hear the Laurie's coughed up the Cuonzo buyout, but I know there is plenty left in their tills too!
