Pre 2000 they had a very impressive record and resume

Post 2000 they have been bad with the exception of 1 season. A middle of the pack SEC team for 2+ decades.

1 sweet Sixteen appearance or better since 1997 is hilariously bad

I can't tell if that's a shot at Arkansas or a nod to how good we should expect to be.

Your aren't wrong though, it is hilariously bad when we were a top 25 program for 25 years prior to that. No one else in the conference really stepped up consistently. Tennessee had a brief run with Pearl, then he got in hot water and y'all hired a televangelist.

The lure Musselman had to this job was that it has been bad and it shouldn't be that way, that we should be top 2 or 3 in the conference yearly. I'm excited about the future if he is here long term.

We’ve made 9 ncaa tourney trips in that stretch, but it was below what we expect no doubt.

How about you…

Nolan Richardson, AD Frank Broyles and former chancellor John White all had a hand in destroying Arkansas basketball.
