This. I’m a huge proponent of build a new arena downtown Athens but Stegeman isn’t THAT bad (especially with the recent improvements).
It’s better than Coleman and certainly on par with The Hump, The Pete, and Memorial.

Alabama's arena always seems so damn dark in there. It's like watching a game with sunglasses on. Anyone else notice this?

They'll need to move fast to do that. Downtown is a damn gold rush right now with a lot of corps. snatching up the land to develop bland arse apartment/restaurant/office space buildings.
Just saw the plans for a new development right at Broad Street and Newton. Took down the hotel and fraternity house that sat right there to do it.
Aside from downtown, where else on campus/near DT can they throw a new arena?
