Yes, you make a good point. I'm not trying to hate at all. But remember, Alabama has been to nine national titles since he came as well. Even though they lost three, still good those years; it's a lack of parity from that perspective.

Yea I mean we are absolutely the monster in the room. Honestly, and I know it is easy for me to say this, I think having a big bad guy is good for sports. It was fun to hate the Yankees in the 90s. It was fun to hate USC in the 2000s. I think it's fun for teams to hate us (for them) and it's exhilarating to beat us and win titles (LSU 2019, UGA 2021).

I think the issues we talked about above are definitely eroding the feel of CFB, though.

Sometimes you just have a coach and program that is there every year. It is not unprecedented in other sports and they all survived it.
