I hardly ever post, but I've read this thread and it made me laugh. Look who fell off the turnip truck and wants to talk baseball? This isn't going to go well for you this season. Well good luck and melt away...

Played baseball my whole pre adult life.
Now you’re a different type of “catcher”.
nearing 50 years old with no wife and family. bet they enjoy the parades together.
ADD:
DVH by the time he was Tony V's age (43)
D2 National Title with Central Missouri State
back to back CWS appearances with Nebraska
and more importantly: married with two children
meanwhile Tony V is having his players pose for him in fur coats and daddy hats?????????????? big time alert....
Tony V is a missouri grad so it all makes sense.

Is down by 3 right now against Stanford. 5th inning underway.
I'm not fan of Arkansas, but I'd bet on them vs. UT any day of the week. Period. Money in the bank.

quote:But you are entitled when your team has done absolutely nothing other than take batting practice against an Iona team that might lose to some 16u summer prospect teams?
Focus on this season. You aren't entitled to shite just because your team has done well in the past.
Like I said: you Tennessee fans are so brand new to baseball it's incredibly embarrassing.

I don’t think they understand nuance. They see everyone playing small schools so they think it’s all even. They don’t realize that Iona may be the worst team in the entire country

It really is so evident. They don't even understand how this shite works.
He really thinks that this is like football where the great teams do not come close to losing to the likes of Illinois State. We lost to them and were still ranked #2 in the next poll. that being said, I’m not convinced that we’re that good, but it is too early to tell either way at this point. For reference, State has some losses to mid majors as well, and I can almost guarantee you that they will host a regional and be a force in the postseason.

I played baseball for over 12 years. Was an all state pitcher in high school my junior year before my right elbow got twisted in a two a day wrestling camp my senior year and been watching the Braves my entire life. I feel like the Vols team has some great overall chemistry and key parts going on. Texas will tell us a lot more about how good we really are ofcourse. I have been watching Arkansas baseball and basketball closely this year low key since their fans been talking so much sh#t and my conclusion is that their basketball team is ranked about where they should be but their baseball team a bit underwhelming looking even in their wins. Eye test doesn't lie especially if you played as much as me. I got the Vols 9 out of 10 times against the hogs in baseball.

Partially because I, unlike yourself, know what it takes to win a national title in baseball. Tennessee fans are literally never going to know the feeling (hell, y'all haven't even won A GAME in Omaha in how long?)
quote:Yea, based on how shitty your posting is, I doubt the same of you.
