However the author, as usual, fails to provide any solution beyond Kim English ...
Sure Kim was a Tiger and he may become a great coach someday but his tenure is too short to even think about giving him the gig right now.
Throw $1-1.5 MIL/year (with incentives) at Matt McMahon (Murray State - $400K/year) and get it done before May.
Yeah, mid-major coach but dude can develop talent (Ja Maront, anyone) and can flat out coach (Racers record under his tenure: 123-64).
Get it done ...

That’s not really true. Any mid major type moving up is a gamble and you’re betting on what they COULD BE.
