Because they're the best team. Coaching and players matter.

fricking hell football fans are ignorant. It's extremely hard to win a championship in basketball. It depends all on who you draw in the tourney and luck. There isn't a dominant basketball team this year like last year in Baylor. There's probably 10 or so teams that could win the natty this year.

They score more points than their opponents.

Any time you have two great big men, you're going to be very good. Auburn has two that just happen to be 7 footers.

Having said that, Auburn has so much talent that I actually think they're underperforming and should be even better.

The honest answer is Bruce Pearl has had long enough to build his team the way he wants and he has, IMHO, the best player in college in terms of impacting a game.

Hire a good coach, get out of their way, give them what they need to succeed. Viola.

I would love to be wrong but the last 6 national champions shot over 39% from 3 and we are about 30% so I don't see us going all the way.

Cheating, Sleezy Coach and great players. Same coach that had losing season last year. It’s the players most of the time. Auburn has a very good team. They have also had very favorable schedule. I suspect they would have 5-6 losses had they had Bama’s schedule but They have been impressive. Too bad they have to start over next year.
