Literally this.
There was an SEC QB starting on literally the OTHER team in the Super Bowl and you didn't see UGA fans going around, claiming the Rams were their team and how everyone else was jealous of Matt Stafford.
To be fair though, they've been relevant in a major sport in the past 2 years, so...
