Connor Shaw stepping down

Anyone have any information on this? I believe he said it was due to family obligations but that is the excuse everyone uses. I've heard he's being run-off by Satterfield. Makes no sense to run-off Shaw, not only is the dude a legend but he's got a good football mind and can become a great coach in the future.

Not sure. Since leaving the Bears in late 2017 Shaw has been:

TE Coach for Furman.
Left Furman to join a private business.
Gamecock Director of Player Development.
Gamecock Director of Football Relations.

No shame at all in it, but I've gotten the vibe the man hasn't been able to find a career path that he truly wants to go down.
