This is also why both Auburn and Alabama baseball programs are always going to have a hard time competing if the 11.7 rule remains.

Most other state schools can use a portion of their scholarship lottery funds to help flesh out all those half and quarter schollies to the baseball team, but Alabama schools can't do this.

Vandy of course takes it to another level because they just use endowment cash to pay full rides for all of their roster.
