Looks like 5 for now locks in NCAA, Arkie and Florida are in but need more work to get a higher seed...Kentucky and Auburn have offense and defense efficiency for a Final 4 run. LSU offense is killing them. Keep in mind, the NET uses the KenPom as a base for its rankings.

3. Kentucky
7. Auburn
13. Tennessee
14. LSU
18 Bama
38. Arkansas
40. Florida

Arkansas can make noise at home vs Auburn and Kentucky. Auburn may slip since it will be their first true/challenging road game in conference.

Too high!

BUT……we beat Bama, who beat Baylor (#4 team) and also beat Gonzaga the number 2 team…who beat Texas, that beat West Virginia, that beat UConn, who beat Auburn, the number 1 team

So technically, we beat the top 2 teams in the country and the #4 team

Thanks....

But for discussion...

Bama is a great win on the road...but playing UGA, Ole Miss, Mizzou so far on the road is really not challenging...which is why y'all are ranked where you are in the KenPom at the moment.

Aw you disappoint me. I thought you were referring to Auburn fans taking over the airplane hanger. It was South Carolina and not UGA, BTW.

You're selling yourselves short. Courtesy of Bama, you've also got a transitive win against 18-2/#7 Houston.

All this stuff is fine when trying to separate teams that have basically the same records. At the end of the day, the committee will weigh wins and losses the most.

Hogs have a chance to make huge leaps in coming weeks…also have a chance to make leaps backwards with road games at UGA and Mizzou.

I agree. Auburn has a tough backend schedule. They are @ Arky,@ Florida, @ Mississippi St and @ Tennessee. I think they could drop 3 or 4 games the rest of the way. That's why it was important get to #1 and get that historic goal off their back. I also think they have the depth to make a deep run, but once March hits it's all about matchups. That's what makes it fun, you can win every night out but you could also lose, especially with that # 1 target on your back. Sec has some good teams.

Arkansas too high.

Although they have won 6 in a row but still aren't playing to their potential.

The good news is that after this week, there's no opportunity for bad losses and should only increase their NET.

There's no way they win 12 conference games in a row like they did last year.
