He has some good players but so do most teams in the SEC. It seems like they haven't improved any from last year. I don't think he's on the hot seat but he needs to turn it up a notch.

I honestly don’t think this Bama roster is great. Somewhere between solid and good and I think the hinge was JQ stepping up and becoming a true star. And he’s been terrible. In the meantime I’m not sure why this team doesn’t play through Keon Ellis a little bit more. He might not be the type to take the bull by the horns and just go do that but that might be where Oats could step in.

Bama still in a great spot under Oats and I think this team still has plenty of time to find itself.
