Last year a ton of these transfer dude did not find a home, many had to take a place on a roster at a university no one ever heard of.
Now that was LAST year. The number of guys who have entered the portal this year is more than TWICE as many as last year. There are simply nowhere near enough spots open for them to land. Gonna be a lot of guys pissed off.
I often wonder what happens to the leftovers with no place to land? I guess they have to grow up fast, get a job to support themselves, etc.

It's been about the NFL since around 1965. Which isn't a bad thing. If you're great at something there's nothing wrong with wanting to get paid to do it (unless you're great at sex I guess lol)
But this portal thing is terrible for the sport. At the very least you should have to sit out a year if you transfer to a school on your current team's schedule the following season.
