I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’d like to see to fix a lot of the issues in CFB
1. Have to separate power 5 from group of 5,
2. Create a realistic amount that each college in the power five can reasonably afford to pay each player on the 85 man roster.
3. NIL is fine but is left to each individual player to create those opportunities for themselves as long as it is not tied to a booster of their university.
4. I think with there being fewer teams that are on the have not side of things you can reasonably expand playoffs and should be able to create competitive matchups.
5. No intraconference transfers without sitting one year. If you transfer to different conference then you can be immediately eligible.
There would also need to be some weeding out of smaller universities who are currently power five who cannot afford to pay players.
Maybe not the best thread to post this in but I didn’t want to create a thread for my personal thoughts.
