But, in all honesty I can see Stetson going into coaching if he chooses to, he is incredibly smart (IVY league was after him out of high school), you don't get looks from IVY league unless your IQ is North of 130, your grades are outrageous and your SAT WAY UP THERE.

It’s entertaining how everytime someone says “you might want to do some research” it makes that person feel so good and so important.

I'm not going to fault a kid trying to improve his draft stock by making a business decision regarding his future. If that means going to another school where my talent will be utilized for my best interest, then, so be it!
Coaches leave all the time to better themselves...Do we not hold them to the same accountability as some of you do the players?

We've had players transfer to almost every divisional rival. It's like they don't really care which team they play for anymore

Sounds like they don't care as long as it's not LSU.

Couldn't resist.

I understand backups transferring wanting to start somewhere. A starter transferring is another thing.

Your words indicate that you don’t know much, if anything, about the subject matter. Might do a little research before throwing shite out on the interwebs. Stetson just won a NC and his QBR for 2021 was only .9% behind Heisman winner, Bryce Young. Stetson dreamed of being the QB at UGA since he was a small child. His dad built him a small football field beside his pharmacy and started a league to help Stetson pursue his dream.

Might want to “pump the brakes” next time you decide to spew shite, lest you look like a fool.
"Bennett's lack of starting experience paired with his 5'11", 190-pound frame makes it unlikely he'll be a Day 1 or 2 pick. Bennett is likely looking at a late-round selection, if that—him being an undrafted free agent seems more likely."

UGA fan taking up for Stetson unlike the rest who shite on him constantly, many even after winning a title.

These things are mutually exclusive.

I can love Stetson Bennett but hate that he starts against a Saban led team.

Not even sure WTF that post is even in reference to. I, and I am sure most UGA fans know Stetson has very little chance of making an NFL roster much less ever starting a game in the NFL.

That does not change the fact that he is an EXCELLENT collegiate QB, that just greatly helped UGA win a Natty

Somewhat ironically, your story helps demonstrate why he can be comfortable where hes at unlike others who are trying to make it to the league.

I'm laughing because no one even considers for a moment that players would ever consider where they want to go to college first and foremost.

Gotcha. I misunderstood.

I'm not sure whether or not Stetson even wants to play in the NFL. I could see him being an excellent coach. Hell, he could run for any office he wanted or work for any company in Georgia.

All I know is the guy's a loyal University of Georgia football player who's give his all for the school and the state and deserves tons of credit for that. There are thousands of QBs who play CFB without ever winning a title. More than 124 did just last season.

Stetson won a title and no QB in my lifetime deserves it more.

Cool story, stud, national champion, but not a good QB

Nobody is claiming he is a great QB, though. Did you read the OP? he is talking about players truly loving the game and loving the school they play for.

You don't have to be a great anything to meet those qualifications.

Oh look, a thread about football with only Georgia and Alabama fans talking. What a surprise.

In fact, you are of the opinion that he cannot beat a Saban ed team, are you not?

It’s the only game I don’t think he can win.

He can beat every other team.

I agree with everything you've said, but unless he's able to have another super year in college, his NFL chances are very slim.
I doubt that he ever gave turning pro this year a real thought.

My guess is he came into this thread to post and immediately realized as an Auburn fan he was way out of his depth.

You got kids committing to SEC schools and leading them in yardage, then leaving said school for another school that lost to their previous one.

Since you're probably talking about Burton it should be noted that those 2 teams played twice in a few weeks and in one of those games the other team beat his team soundly and threw the ball for 421 yards. The leading receiver amassed 184 yards and 2 touchdowns. For that matter, the other team had more passing yards than his team in the next game as well by some 145 yards. His team features the tight end and they have a good one. The team he transferred to features wide receivers. Seems fairly easy to understand to me. He wants to be a #1 NFL pick. His new team has produced a lot of them the last several years.
