no the frick they didn't.
“A few were upset, as they booed when the senior quarterback was announced as the starting quarterback in Sanford Stadium on Saturday.“
Dawgnation
I mean it did happen. RG3 talked about it at beginning of broadcast and made a big deal because of how well stet did and UGA fans got all upset on Twitter etc when he suggested we had a qb controversy

That's a big fricking lie. Nobody booed Stenson until after the SEC championship game.
I will post some links. It most certainly happened.

Funny I don't see any video. Is there any actual proof of this? Knowing journalists these days 1 random drunk dude at the hedges could have been the inspiration for the entire article. Maybe it was people yelling zeus and the writer was drunk. Who knows. Without actual evidence, I'm taking that aritcle with a massive grain of salt. An article which actually even says "a few" people lol. Yall act like he got booed the same way the opposing team does.
ETA: but furthermnore, what does a few drunk people in the stadium that day have to do wiht this fake war the 2 of you have created on here?

I mean..it is a fake war. you and peter continue to claim that there is a contingent, on here, that is somehow still pissed off daily to this day that JT daniels didn't play.
We are national champions, it's not possible to not be overjoyed with how the season ended. Everyone is happy. Not a soul is pissed at the ending fo the 2021 season based on who the QB was.
Now..you can argue some people are being debbie downers abotu next year but that's a separate discussion entirely.

I think they are connected. Can you see the connection?

It was more than “a few drunk people” and the sentiment of those types were carried by some on this very website. We may be dicks, but the only thing that can frick a cünt is a dick, with some balls. We can also frick assholes, but thats kinda gross unless the gal preps and that takes away from the spontaneity of it. So, bottom line, they most certainly booed him before that game.

as I said before, all opinions on the matter in September of 2021 were valid based on what we knew at the time. Shouting for JT over stetson the first half the season is not wrong or worthy of hate.

It was the how
every large gropu of people is going to have fringe groups on both sides. In September you had groups that loudly wanted JT and loudly didn't want stetson. Again, they'd be warranted in their thinking but yeah I'm sure some people's actions were over the top. Fast forward to to day with all the data we have available. Those people have shrunk to a miniscule few while another fringe group has emerged that loudly and repeatedly calls anyone who preferred JT, or says anything negative at all about stetson, a count.
Again, all groups have vocal minorities while at the end of the day 95% of the fanbase, on here and in real life, just wnat to win. Regardless of who is playign for us or the team we're palying against.

The problem is that as the situation progressed, time passed, and new facts and data and observation were available, some people still couldn't let go of 2020. Those people were (and many still are) in shambles.

If you'll look back at my first long post after your long post, I disagree and think that baed on the facts we had avialable to us in real time, being a bit down on stetson was perfectly valid all the way up until the 4th quarter of the title game.

this is the crux of y'alls argument but I don't really see it. Who is mad? Who's in shambles? I see a lot of people arguing with yall 2 on the topic becuase it won't die, but I don't see anyone lamenting the fact we won the title game simply becuase it wasn't with JT. Can you point to any of those folks?

This is a fake narrative that you are clinching to.
Preferring the 5* Savior over lil' ol Stet was basically a universal opinion preseason and early season.
It was when Stet came in and looked like a different QB by about midseason with a decent body of work that the true cünts sprouted from the ground.

No offense, but you don't remember hearing this during the broadcast? Or maybe you were at the game? I'm not sure. But I do remember the announcers mentioning it during the game (Or maybe before the game started....I can't remember exactly)
quote:I mean the game had not even started yet, so it wasn't in response to a bad play. Is it fine to boo a Georgia player under those conditions, in your opinion?
Yall act like he got booed the same way the opposing team does.

I typically agree with 99% of your posts, but you're wrong in this instance, because I remember the TV announcers mentioning it, and if another reporter wrote about it.....well, I would have doubts it is fabricated or misunderstood. I remember a bit of an uproar on the board....or at the very least some stirring of what became what we are experiencing now.

which is fine, and rooted in reality

This is where we will just not ever see eye to eye on. The amount of detractors massively decreased because we continued winning, which is all that really matters. But again, we were winning because of the best defense we've ever had and stetson playing well. Not great but not bad by any means. Arkansas was his first actual, big test on the season and he was the definition of pedestrian. Barely contributed to the win. Played very well against the next 2 teams in some tough contests. Confidence among fans is skyrocketing. Now we get to jacksonville and he again is not good, but we still win becuase of defense. Then we play 4 scrubs that we had zero chance of losing to. Then we play bama and get smoked.
it is not out of line to still have major doubts about him as of January.

I'm thinking about getting the SECR involved in the final four war. Objective people. What is your opinion?
Posted on 1/21/22 at 3:41 pm to SemperFiDawg
This board is getting unreadable with the Stet threads. Dude gets treated like he's the second coming of Tom Brady. Then get mad when all we want is elite QB play, especially with the WR talent we have, something we haven't had since Aaron Murray.
