Yay!
I have no ill will towards Bama's baseball program on the whole, but I'll admit it's nice to get to reverse roles and be the bully in the yard the next few months.

No, it will be really good. Best in the country we’ll see. But if guys just produce at the level they have in the past, it will be right there.

To say it will be hands down the best in the nation

the "won't be particularly close" part was hyperbole

I don't think you can put any 1-5 up with LSU's.

If 6-9 produce how they did at their previous stops/how they did in the fall, then LSU should have the best offense in the country.

Catcher - Tyler McManus - double digit HR and .348 BA last year at Samford
SS - Jordan Thompson - 8 HR, hit .250, made freshman All-SEC

Then there's about 10 guys that will fight over the last outfield and DH spot. Based on Johnsons past, those players better be able to hit, or they won't be in the lineup.

ETA: What I think is really telling is that LSU is ranked anywhere from 3-10 in the polls, but has virtually no proven starting pitchers. It's ALL based on the offense. We will not be in many low scoring games this season.

Would be impressive if true, but he played at Samford, not Stanford.

Tulsa has a lot of hog fans. Arkansas should hit that area harder in football.

Because fans can’t play football?

It is why everyone is ranked high in the SEC West.

Ole Miss returns everyone from an offense that was #2 behind Arkansas in scoring last season. The Rebels led the SEC in team BA a season ago.

Arkansas brings back/in 75+ HR's from a season ago and the leagues #1 scoring offense and #1 OB% offense.

Mississippi State returns a ton on offense that was #3 in the league in scoring a year ago and won the National Title.

This is why all of the teams are ranked high. Ole Miss returns no weekend starting pitching, but every single offensive weapon from a year ago is back. Arkansas lost Kopps and a weekend starter, but return a shite ton of offensive power. Vanderbilt lost the top 2 starters in NCAA Baseball a season ago, but return a damn fine lineup that includes a dude that snagged 47 bags last season.

Texas LOL they will choke
Texas might underperform in other, more notable men's athletics, but baseball is definitely not one of them. They've been to the CWS 37 times, with at least one appearance in each of the nine decades that it's been a thing

Should be a fun season

That's a hard one to forget. Several near misses, including last year.

Yes we do. He was aight last season. I'm still not convinced he is going to be a go-to reliever, especially in conference play. He throws a lot of pitches and sometimes his fastball is flat. He walks more batters than I'd like.

He brings it on himself with his antics on the mound.

A lead is never safe when #58 takes the bump.

Because they had a better team last year and couldn’t get to Omaha. My brother goes to ole miss and says he doesn’t expect much this year, especially with the bullpen. Not trying to hate against Bianco but he’s just not going to bring Ole Miss to the top.
