Alabama had a pretty good gap year

Some people spend their gap year backpacking through Europe but Alabama spent it surprisingly winning the SEC and getting to the national championship game.
Should be refreshed for a return to natties in 2022.

One of the better coaching jobs by Saban. Bama fell victim to the injury bug that they often seem to escape. Would have been a different game. Great season nonetheless.

You haven’t won a legitimate natty since 2017 (that’s over half a decade)

I’d like to extend congratulations to Bama on this gap year.
Only the Tide could end Georgia’s 4+ decades long drought.
Next year do the Vols!

Who plays WR? Both might be back next year from the knees but it likely won’t be the same for a while even if they are.

Insanely impressive what Bama achieved this year honestly. Especially considering how they looked at certain points

It begins as a “gap year” and ends as a decline.
