As a black belt native it’s pretty funny to me watching people in this thread pretend like Tuskegee isn’t a shite hole ghetto just like the rest of the black belt, for the sole purpose of championing their favorite university on the SEC rant.

I’m from Selma, and that’s just Tuskegee with two syllables

Imagine being so stupid you don’t know Auburn has higher enrollment standards than Bama.

No, it’s not. Ghetto = downtown Athens and Tuscaloosa.

Good Lord.

Talk about denial and defection.

Then you were trash to begin with.

Did you actually attend Auburn or Alabama and take Mid-Terms and Finals?

Did Dante or Faulkner ever ask you about their fiction?

Tuskegee is pretty cool.

Auburn would love to have them.

But they know better than us. The ones who haven’t been there.

There is a benefit to the main campus or they would not be doing it.

The benefit being helping to educate poor minority areas in the state. Few things fight poverty and crime better than education. So hell yes, there is a big benefit.

It is about education. Something you obviously know nothing about.

Only Walmart ever to close was in Skeegie. Could not keep the store stocked. Problem was that more items walked out back door than front. Is that a race issue? No, it’s a thief issue. That said, the University is considered to be very good, or at least it has been in my lifetime. High quality grads. The community is the problem.

Is Tuskegee the AA Land Grant school in Alabama? If so, this makes sense. Kind of like our relationship with Prairie View A&M.

And Prairie View is just about the same as Tuskegee in all aspects from what I can tell.

The difference in almost any public education in alabama is laughable.

And yet I have my doubts about you having a degree from any four year college

Nope. The walmart in Fairfield Alabama was also closed due to thievery. Ironically Fairfield is also the home of another HBCU. Miles college.

I think this would be a good thing. I hold A&P certificates and work in the aviation field. There is a definite need for education opportunities within the field, particularly maintenance and engineering level. I may be ill-informed, but I think the majority of Auburn's aviation program is geared towards pilot certification.

Hopefully it could include an A&P certification program as part of it. Otherwise the best program in the state is probably Enterprise-Ozark or Andelusia. Embry-Riddle is a great school, but there are only 3 campuses nationwide and they're awfully expensive.

Or... join the Navy, get an O level F/A-18 NEC, get your FAA 8610 signed off by the local FSDO, and then study and take your written, O, & P exams. It ain't rocket science. Well, it can be.
