I’ve been in Indiana one day and it’s been one day too long.

People here are rude as shite. Loudmouths. Saw several altercations last night between people from Indiana and people from Georgia and Alabama. Not much common courtesy here. And the band I saw last night was terrible and it was supposedly the best bar here.

I’m sure you did nothing to warrant it

How did that place even get picked for the NC anyway? I though the natty was supposed to rotate around traditional NY6 bowls or something like that.

At least you went to Indianapolis and not "the Annapolis."

Entire mid west is a giant shithole.

Indiana really is a shithole. Lucas Oil stadium and St elmos are cool but the rest of downtown is shitty wannabe irish bars. There is one other bar that is an Indiana Hoosier themed bar that is pretty good.

Well, they are northerners.

Indianapolis and Columbus are the most pedestrian, bland, generic, whatever cities in America. Cookie cutter cities if there is such a thing. Just generic chain store America. Both are fricking awful.

At least your not in Gary, it gets way worse.

Indiana is more redneck than any southern state

I've been here since Friday and the people have been great. It's too cold, but the people have been very welcoming. Same with every fan I've met from Georgia and Alabama.
Maybe you're hanging out in the wrong places.

Feel for you fans lending your time and money to a place like Indy in the middle of the winter.
That cold makes you cranky and want to stay inside. Indy for a kickoff game sure. Not the last game of the year. Seattle would have been an out of the way city but much better venue.

I will say Indiana is one of the most boring states I've ever traveled in. Only Kansas is worse.
Farmland, farmland, small town that has seen better decades, farmland. I am sure there is gorgeous scenery in the state but I sure as hell didn't drive through it. The people there were okay, not Southern friendly but not New York City jackass either.
I know that describes a lot of the South but usually there are least some interesting hills or trees or something to break the monotony of it all.

Couple geniuses got together and said hell let's have this game on Monday night. Then just to make that decision look good they said let's have it in Indianapolis.

Maybe Georgia and Bama fans are a bunch of obnoxious pricks.

Carmel and Zionsville are cute shopping towns very close to downtown Indy. Try Milktooth in Indy for brunch in the morning. The Bottleworks district on Mass Ave is pretty cool. The Rathskeller is a fun, old fashioned German beer hall right off Mass Ave.
