I wholeheartedly agree.

And even if you wanted to just replace a couple of teams, I still don't think that's a good idea.

You wouldn't be able to get one of the established programs to switch, so that just leaves C-USA and Sun Belt. I don't see that adding strength to the conference.

As a Tulane fan (therefore, aware of C-USA), I would have to agree.

TCU, Southern Miss, even Tulane ('98), may have the occassional great season...but adding any of them would not immediately strengthen the SEC.
Even if the C-USA program(s) were competitive as today's Vandy, MSU, Duke, and Northwestern programs, why would the SEC want more of that?
