He also hasn't done well with QB's who aren't, well, small town good 'ol boy. Maybe he likes those who he sees as similar to himself?

This totally ignores the fact that JT was named our starter this year until he was hurt, plus he played the final 4 games of last year based on his performance and not his geographical origin.

And totally ignores the fact we started Dwan Mathis from Michigan before he had to be pulled.

And totally ignores the fact we started Eason before he hurt himself.

It's all just Cünt Talk.

JT

Sure got pulled out of games quickly early season to give Bennett a chance to play...though the door never seemed to swing the other way when JT was (allegedly) fully healthy later in the season. Very unusual for someone who had been the starter. It better turn out that Daniels was secretly more injured all year than publically announced or it's only going to reinforce the notion.

Mathis got pulled after one game and was never given a chance or seen again. Fields...well...we know what happened there. Kirby definitely did not like his attitude of wanting a real chance at starting. I suspect he was too "uppity" for Kirby. Which is why I would be shocked to see someone like Caleb Williams wanting to play for him.

When I see Kirby going a full season supporting a non-local kid who doesn't fit his mold - I'll believe it. His QB management record is shaky until proven otherwise.
