Yet they still won natty easily with this format. Playing physical top 15 teams back to back to back takes its toll. You can’t be up play perfect every game, people get knicked up etc
So you're saying that luck (injuries) should play a bigger factor in the determination!
Man, your cognitive ability needs to be overhauled.

May not change outcome, however we could have more meaningful games in playoffs with no op outs diminishing bowl product

Expanding the playoffs will only result in four SEC teams in the semis.

I thought Michigan was going to blow Georgia out?

true expanded playoffs will end the bama monopoly
Lol you guys said this about the 4 team playoff.
Yet it only made it worse
It hurts as a LSU fan to say this but I do agree. People do not seem to realize that an eighth ranked Bama team can still knock off any #1 team in an expanded playoff.

So how this works is, they could have had a twenty team playoff and uga and bama would have rematched...
The rest of the conference’s fans don’t believe that.

Expanding the playoffs only makes it easier for Bama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Clemson, etc to get into the playoffs.

What a bitch take.
Your team can’t take them down so you hope the entire CFB landscape changes in the HOPES that it MIGHT slow down Alabama?
You should feel bad… but you don’t, because that’s your “culture” in a nutshell. Cajun bitches…

The Astros & Dodgers have gotten in the playoffs like 9 out of the 10 seasons. This happens in every sport. How many times have the Lakers gotten in ?

Just like in every other sport, when teams have to go through a 3-4 consecutive week gauntlet, the best team wins the whole thing alot less. Having only a week to prepare, get healthy, etc. leads to more upsets or at the very least much more competitive games. Look at any other sport, college or pro, how often does the team considered to be the favorite or even the top 2-3 actually win? 50-60%?

Alabama is the most-watched CFB team, so it'll be good ratings.

It will be ugly at the beginning but ,ore teams in the playoffs will theoretically spread out the talent as more teams have access to the playoffs over time.
I’m all for an expanded playoff. In the short term it will be bad
But in the long term it could be beneficial for the sport
People don’t want to hear this but this sport is definitely at a crossroads. With unlimited free agency and unlimited paying of players it will definitely lose its appeal for most fans except the four teams that get all the players every year
