They have more wins this year, which is what matters.

Wins are a team stat. Mac has the far better team, as mentioned.

True, but you don’t both throw and catch TD passes, or block to allow it to happen. Pretty much everything is a team stat. What is clear, is both were in Patriots’ camp and Belichick chose to go with Jones.

No, Mac makes better use of his team.

You quoted the Cam Newton TD's earlier, but what you didn't mention is that only 8 of them were passing TDs. So he had 8 passing TDs and 10 interceptions.

The other were rushing TDs and 1 recieving. Which he took away from the running backs. The RBs only had 8 rushing touchdowns between them.

In total, the New England offense under Cam Newton scored a total of 32 TDs on the season.

So far even though the year isn't over, the offense is already up to 35 TDs. Because in addition to the TDs you listed for Mac Jones, the RBs are also getting more TDs. 15 TDs, almost double - and the season isn't over.

You blame the team, and that's such a Cam Newton thing to do. But good players elevate those around them, and Mac does that. You see it in the increased rushing production that goes along with the increased passing production.

New England knew it, and that's why Cam got cut.
