True, but he was pressured into it by the dumbass BOTs who didnt want to wait on Saban. Mal wanted Saban and no one else. Thankfully Rita wouldn't let Rich Rod take the job. Bless her.

She didn’t want to live in Tuscaloosa then and is now living in Jacksonville AL
