I feel like this team has competent coaching for the first time since Shanahan was in town. The lack of talent on the perimeter is painfully obvious right now.
This is going to sound harsh, but it is time for Ridley to shite or get off the pot. He's going on what, the sixth week of his sabbatical now? It is absolute bullshite that the team has to pay him while he is voluntarily not doing his job. The team needs his playmaking ability in a bad way right now.
IMO, he has played his last snap as a member of this team.

I agree on both points.
Ridley comes back for this push or he can go frick himself.
Smith is good at calling and designing plays.
Edit to add) before the mental health police arrive. I'm speaking in terms of football.

This team runs the ball better than they have at almost any point since 2010. 2017 is the exception.
The pass blocking on this team is atrocious though.

It is bad. But IF we had all of our weapons running great routes, maybe Matt could let it loose in under 3 seconds.

Defenses have no fear of getting beat deep because this team's deep threat is chilling on the couch probably not even watching his teammates fight their asses off.

They have to address this in the off-season with more cap through FA and the draft.

I usually side with the players in terms of fans not really deserving to meddle in their personal lives or off field shite.
I just feel like fans deserve an update on this fukin disaster. O mean what the fuvk is going on with our WR1?

The cap won't really get any better until 2023 when Ryan's albatross becomes more palatable.

I got skewered on this website for giving my opinion on Ridley when this stuff first came out.

The NFL cap number will go up significantly. Falcons are expected to have $28,000,000 before any contract extensions or restructuring.

Holy hell I hope we don't see any more of these. That's a huge reason why the team is in this spot.

Jake Matthews is the expectation for a restructure.

Nice road win today. The team is sorely lacking in talent, but they play hard and are well coached.

Man. It's nice to see each unit seem to genuinely care about each other and the outcome.
Guys like Lee Smith and Mike Davis are prime examples.
