They dont take into consideration the talent that was lost from 2020, the sub par OL he had to scheme around or the injuries that took place this season.

Now do Alabama fans on Golding…


He is a long way from my fav DC that has been at UA, but he has started slow every season at UA and seems to turn it on in nov and the playoffs

Already addressed this (at least from my perspective) on the first page.

Posted this earlier in the season about Golding, FWIW:

Pete Golding was/is highly regarded for that scheme, and was brought in to help the long-term transition.

As with anything of this magnitude, it will and has taken time to bring in the right players to fit, and to adjust in practice, in-game, etc.

We should be getting close to that point. Or perhaps it will never work. Who knows.
