That's a contradiction. I have vague memories of Pete Carroll at USC winning before the ascension of the SEC and Chip Kelly at Oregon valiantly challenging SEC dominance and failing at it. Since then the Pac12 has been a joke of a football conference. The SEC, OSU, and Clemson are all that's relevant in CFB right now. I don't even like that, and I wish it would change. But it won't anytime soon. Going to Oregon would be a foolish move for anybody who aspires to prove himself at the highest levels of the game.

Not compared to Ole Miss, everyone is relevant compared to them

Unless they’re the Coach at Ole Miss and trying to achieve anything meaningful is futile. Then the only sane thing to do would be to go to Oregon
