Everyone doesn't just pick up their lives and move across the country. Especially when your job is already at a place like Notre Dame. It shows how impressive LSU pulling Brian Kelly was.

Woodward really is a big-game hunter. His hire of Jimbo was even more impressive at the time.
When he hired Jimbo, he had a higher winning percentage than Kelly AND Jimbo had a natty, which Kelly does not.
Woodward is the GOAT. That Jimbo hire was tough to beat but he came close this time
